ESP* – Essential Skillset Program
The KTNU Essential Skillset Program provides Leadership & Universal skills to employees with various experience and education backgrounds. The audience defined has one of the largest influence and interaction with our working force. The goal of the program is to further advanced the skillset of our future leaders. This initiative is designed to develop the soft skills and emotional intelligence of our frontline leaders, empowering team leads and supervisors who play a key role in the success of our day-to-day operations.
Program Impact Goals:
Reduce Sick Leave: By equipping employees with enhanced emotional intelligence and leadership capabilities, we expect a decrease in absenteeism as team morale and workplace satisfaction improve.
Lower Turnover: Empowering supervisors and trainers with advanced soft skills will strengthen team dynamics, improve communication, and lead to higher employee retention, thus lowering turnover rates.
Boost Performance: As team leads develop better leadership and interpersonal skills, their ability to manage operations and support their teams will improve, driving higher productivity and overall job performance.
This program developed in partnership with San Jacinto College and Insperity to bring the best resources and expertise in skill development to our employees. Through this collaboration, we aim to deliver impactful training that supports our workforce in becoming more effective leaders and contributors to Katoen Natie’s success.
