KTNU was formed in 2018. After extensive research and learning about corporate universities, our KTNU General Manager proposed to our Business Unit Manager the creation of a corporate university to serve the La Porte and Baytown, Texas terminals to provide learning and development opportunities. The vision was to align KTNU goals with strategic leadership and business goals, upholding the KTN priorities of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Innovation.

KTNU continues to bring relevant, applicable learning to KTN employees. We focus on continuous improvement as we begin our newest Global Business Management Program (GBMP) cohort and our Essential Skillset Program designed for leads and supervisors.
