History
KTNU was formed in 2018. After extensive research and learning about corporate universities, our KTNU General Manager proposed to our Business Unit Manager the creation of a corporate university to serve the La Porte and Baytown, Texas terminals to provide learning and development opportunities. KTNU Today
The KTNU team has grown rapidly since 2021. We now have five KTN employees contributing to different services KTNU provides: Recruiting and Retention, Global Business Management Program, Executive Education, and our High Potential program.
KTNU has been partnering with the Antwerp Management School, Bauer College of Business with the University of Houston, and the Singapore Management University to help bring this level of executive education to our leaders.
More recently, KTNU has taken on an HR team beginning in 2022 that focuses on hiring, onboarding, and retention. This hands-on team has been out in the field gathering data that will help recognize the gaps and devise a plan that will keep making the difference.
KTNU is continuing to go global with the commitment to foster and develop leaders so as to keep our company legacy and business growing.
Stay tuned for more to come!
